More Information

Working at Heights

  1. Personal Protective Equipment: All participants are required to bring CSA certified hard hat, steel toed boots and eye protection for the practical portion of the training.
  2. Notebook, Pen and Highlighter:  Taking notes and highlighting key sections of your workbook will aid in your retention of the information provided on this course.
  3. Food and Nutrition: Participants are responsible for their own food. It is recommended you bring your own lunch, snacks and water for the day as leaving the facility for lunch may delay your return and ability to review class notes that lead into afternoon practical training sessions. The course will proceed on schedule and many participants benefit from networking with other trainees to share their experience over the lunch period.
  4. Personal Fall Protection Equipment: We encourage you to bring your personal harness and any fall restraint or fall arrest devices. This is not mandatory as all fall protection equipment will be available, however, it is important you are familiar with inspecting and maintaining your own personal safety equipment. This is an ideal opportunity to compare new products available and evaluate the effectiveness of your personal equipment for different applications.

Elevation Aerial Design and Consulting appreciates that there are times when our customers need to cancel or make changes to their training. Due to the high demand for our courses, we have developed a cancellation policy that we feel is fair and allows our customers to cancel or reschedule their training when advanced notice is provided.

Moving a course to another date

* Elevation will move your scheduled course date to another day, without penalty, when provided with 5 business days’ notice.

Cancelling a course

* To receive a full refund, Elevation must receive notice at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled course date. Cancellations made with less than 5 business days’ notice will not be refunded.

* For our customers booking private group training sessions (group minimum of 8 participants), a charge of $800.00 will apply if 7 business day’s notice are not provided when cancelling the course.

If you need to move or cancel your course date, please notify our office immediately by calling 1 800-739-4992 during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). If you are not able to speak with someone directly, please leave a voice message. We also ask that you clearly state in an email to [email protected] the request to move or cancel your course or registration, and the reason for the move or cancellation.

Please note our office is not open on the weekend.

We value the partnership with our customers and it is at the discretion of Elevation to modify this policy based on each individual circumstance.

The health and safety of our participants and our instructor is always our number one priority.
